Hi

New to the forum becuase I'm about to buy my first Landrover, saved up about enough for a new Defender (can't wait).

Anyone got any advice where I can get the best deal on a new one? the cheaper I get the defender, the more accesories I can buy

I'd forget buying a new puma engined defender cos the gearboxes are made of toffee. I'd go with rafa's suggestion of secondhand. Get the newest TD5 you can which will also leave you plenty of money for the extra toys you are craving.

spend as little as possible and beat the crap outta it.Start with a 5k rig of clean description and spend spend the rest on stuff.

You will that way get a sound wagon and have what you want.

ive all ways done defenders like that ,best that way.
