1986 Defender 110 with sliding windows.

I'm looking for door cards, if available, or another way to spruce up the interior side of the front doors. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Liz....... I'm in the same boat with my ex-MOD D90.

I'm pretty sure the Series3 'Safari' door cards will fit - the lower part of the door is the same as a SIII. Personally, they're not my taste (black vinyl over hardboard) and they cover the whole door - but they DO have a document pocket.

I just want a card that goes from the door bottom up to the strengthening 'bar', about 2/3 of the way up - then I can mount some stereo speakers in it.

At the moment, I'm planning to make up a cardboard template, then take it to a local engineering firm and get them to cut some chequer-plate, or similar aluminium plate to fit....... I found something similar on (I think) e-bay, but they were silly money for what they are.

Its not everyones taste but mine came with chequer plate cards and floor.You can still cut holes for speakers and screw handles onto it. The way the water comes in the top of my doors, using a hardboard door card would be pointless.

Devon 4x4 do alloy ones - they aint cheap though.........
