Don't fork out millions on a proper DC roof mate!!

North Offroad make a fibreglass rear roof section (the white bit in my photo's). £92 + vat, I think it work out at £112 all in.

With the old rear tub, Nothing's been changed. I even kept the 110 door and just had it cut in half (till I can find a proper tailgate), but it'll do for now and I can still lock it!:D

Ok thanks that sounds cheaper. :D Did you have to move any of the rear bench row, i think the seats are attached where the bulk head will be...

Did yer move your hinge down, or u got one on it now? My rear door has a truck strap holding it closed. :)

Nothing really got moved at all.
I got rid of the bench seats ages ago but they'd be pointless anyway, lol

The 2nd row seats stay exactly where they are, same for the seat belt anchor points (I was expecting those to be in the way) but nope!!

is it not possible to buy an old truck cab and cut the rear 12 inches off, a bit of seam sealer and a hand full of pop rivets ;)

I think he just meant the rear window and and bulkhead bit. Might be wrong though (usually am):D

Ive got the rivets lined up and ready. And the fiberglass and P38; for those "well that dident quite fit as planned" moments. :D

Next time i go offroading, i'll lie in wait for a 110 double cab then pounce on em  and ask to have a look how it all goes together.

No idea mate!!

Could be avacado as far as I know. Although I have just bought a small can of Dulux once in sage green to paint the back window and it seems to be quite a decent match!

Bit of a late update:

I've put the lid on the tub, just want to get some tread plate on it.
Also given it a bit of a paint and tidy up.

Still need to match the paint around the rear windows though

Hi, great solution! I need to do the same conversion but Northoffroad site is closed. Anyone can help me to contact them for the conversion kit? I'm from Italy and I cannot find a crew cab roof in my country...
