£189 for whole exhaust, can you tell me where as I'd be interested in doing my p38 as it really needs full system

I ended up buying the exhaust in the video. Wanted the janspeed but 284+ VAT & post was just too expensive at the moment. Its made by "double s" and the 189 includes vat & post. I had one by this lot on my 4.6 P38... the single exit system they do is v.good, nice burble but not too loud

They said not to go for it if you do a lot of motorway driving... if its too loud I'll just chuck my middle box back on, its the back one thats rotten

cheers

Well that worked out alright!

Double S called yesterday saying theres a problem making the system I ordered but I can have the 295 quid one with centre silencer for the same price (189 delivered). Got it today & fitted like a glove. Nice one.

Was a bit worried about it droning without the middle box anyway

Bought too small clamps so can't hear it 'till tomorrow though!

Just had a cat back stainless steel exhaust fitted to my 1994 3.9 EFI V8 discovery and i have not stopped smiling since :D . Its much much louder than i thought and i have not ever heard a car like it.

I would appreciate your thoughts and comments. Thanks Rob

Click on youtube link and turn your volume up high. YouTube - 1994 Land rover discovery 4.0L V8 MONSTER

P.S. The whistling noise at the beggining is my camera, its a it knackered.

Why does my 3.9 V8 not go like that? mine feels much more sluggish?

just back browsing love the car sounds sweet tho i useually just remove the middle silencer for noise , av now got a disco 3.5i as the classic rr has gone but needless to say we have a nice e39 540i sprt sittin on the drive aswell lol

Hallo from Oslo. Before you all run off and change your exhausts,go to Borla Performance Industries - Borla - The World's Most Winning Exhaust & read all about it,if your interested contact US Automotive Ltd in Bedford.Very helpfull guys down there, they even promised my d2 would perform better ha! ha! ha! I thought.I did`nt notice the diff.till I got back home----- here the speed limits are lower and in town the auto box gets abit confused, but she behaves much better know. Mine is a standard 2003 d2 v8 auto with 47000 on the clock, and sounds bloody great---like all v8`s do.:)

Anyone have any idea if these "double S" systems are still being produced and where i can get one?

Just watch it with getting rid of the mid box and replacing with straight thru pipe.
I did it to both my V8 Discoverys and found that although they sound terrific there can be a horrible loud resonance at 2000-2500 rpm which is a pain if that's the rev range you tend to cruise in.

Thanks mate, I have an old MIG but im bloody useless with it, i reckon its the welders fault though ;)
