Tony, I understand your trying to help.
But I know how to work ebay and there are no VM range rovers breaking.
Its not a TDI, its a very rare engine.
Which is why I was asking on an enthusiasts forum.
 
Would it be possible to cut the mating edge off and have a similar one welded to it or even fabricate one to it. Just a long shot.
Ps i do know about the vm
 
Were these engines exclusive to Land Rover? They may have fitted them to other cars and you might find one that way
 
Im looking into those possibilities.
Different to the fwd ones.
Not the same as a taxi with a 2.5 vm, even though it looked identical
