Hi new to this so please excuse mess ups
i have a disco series 2 td5 short runs coolant ok long runs loose water etc. top hose just blown replaced that but still looses water on long run any ideas appreciated.

When you are doing short runs, what sort of speeds are you doing?

Are the heaters staying hot?

speeds vary sometimes upto 60 normally 40 or 30 heater stays hot untill on long runs when loosing water.
