meego Well-Known Member May 21, 2013 #1 Fitting a new hub on the Disco before weekend. I see that its speced for Loctite 648 on the splines before assemply. Whats the feeling on this with anyone thats done it before. Needed or not? Its not cheap at £20 or £30 for 50ml.

N Nigel1943 Active Member May 22, 2013 #2 Sealant prevents oil seeping thro the hub. Any old sealant will do.
