Evening,

So I bought an L320 TDV8 on a 2009 plate last week. Having emptied it, made it drivable (thanks to another thread) and had a good look through I can't for the life of me find the locking nut. Seller tells me it was in the glove box and it did its test a month ago. Isn't there though.

As a special added bonus I opened the boot storage area and found it has absolutely nothing in it except for the polystyrene outline of where things used to go - lovely.

To be fair none of this is a big issue as I tend to use my trolley jack which is now in the back and I have a breaker bar and suitable socket that will do the nuts. The exception is the locking nut.

It's not a position I've been in before. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

There is a dirty trick that will sacrifice a socket, it will depend on the security bolt type as well.
