Hi if I'm to get a set of wheel spacers, do I need new longer locking wheel nuts? If so has anyone any recommendations of sizes and prices needed. I'm looking at the bulldog wheel spacers

Looking at the 30mm spacers on the Bulldog website, it looks like the spacer is bolted onto the existing hub, nuts are supplied and the spacer already has new threaded studs fitted, so there's no need for different wheelnuts. The cost of these spacers is about £150 for a set.

Personally I reckon that spacers can start putting extra strain on the hub bearings; think levers and moments around a fulcrum.

spacers without locktight= wheels fell off

not uncommon on LZ

Do u know if they come with locking wheel nuts as I haven't got any at present so needed some of those

It appears for the pictures on the www that they don't come with any wheel nuts, locking or otherwise but just the fixing nuts for the spacer.

So the wheel nuts I have will fit as normal. Do you know any locking wheel nuts that aren't goin to cost the earth? I've seen some on eBay for like £50, surely there has to be some cheaper?'

Yes they do seen to be £45- £50 for something that is or is very similar to the LR part. :(
