My defender has locking wheel nuts on the steel wheels however the key for them is bent so won't remove them, was wondering if anyone has had this before and if it is possible to get the nuts off without the key?
Thanks for any help.

If they're the original ones you can buy a new key, they're lettered.
or - You can buy a generic removal tool, not too expensive.
or - most tyre fitters carry a set of removal tools
or - you can just smash a slightly smaller socket on
or - you could weld a nut on them and get them off with a socket

Cheers for that, will have a look for a new key then.

No impact gun just wheel wrench trying to undo them and the key bent.

Righty tighty, lefty loosy - looking at the picture and the way the pins have bent it looks like you were tightening them rather than loosening, or is it an optical illusion?

does look like they've bent the wrong way, I was swapping wheels over to change a puncture so could have bent when tightening after to be honest.
