I've just made an impulse purchase for some tasty alloys and will be putting on some new BFGs.

Is there any locking wheel nuts out here that are any good, cos it seems you can just go on eb*y to buy unlocking tools (either genuine ones, or others that screw or grip the lock nuts) ??

I believe there are more secure ones that are difficult to remove with a generic unlocking tool.

They can all be removed easy tbh.... So long as your not precious of your alloy.

How ever still harder than using a 27mm socket.

Got some on my wolfs.

Or just do what I did & change them for cheap modulars!

Tbh folks less likely to steal for the wheels fitted. More likely they want the tires....

Even a ####ed set of bfg muds fetches good money.

Locking nuts will also stop yer wheels falling oft when wet.

having a set on won't do any harm, it's better than nothing. But they can be easily taken off by hammering a socket over the top.
Tbh, its more likely that sombody would steal the Landy as a whole.
