Hi
I have a P reg Discovery 1 300tdi that I have lost the locking wheel nut key.

I have looked closely at the nuts and all they have on them is a number 5 and not a letter.

Does this mean anything to anyone ?

Thanks in advance

Ian

Yes, just go into local Land Rover main stealer, and ask for locking key no 5, you will need to take the Landy with you as there are two typs of key, the main dealer one and an after market version, both are different, so check before you buy, only about £5

there are 2 main types of locking nuts the disco ones have grooves on the outer edgeof the nut. The RRC one's have holes in the flange.

my h reg disco has the ones with the holes

Yeah RRC ones I went into stealers for a key and the numpty insisted on Vin Number told him they weren't off a disco. cos they had holes in. But speccy twot knew best. so 20 microcat screens later he announces he can't find the key. Told him to try a RRC and lo & behold first page he looked at brought it up. then he asked for about £20 for the key?? so I hammered a 20mm socket onto em and removed em that way.
