Help, I bought my Defender TD5 in spring and I did not realise it came with wheel locks. The covers looks identical to normal nuts
It didn't come with a locking wheel nut key so now I am stuck. I have tried to contact the previous owner but no response yet.
I am now looking for a Land rover Locking wheel nut adapter but I do not have the code which is between a and W. Anybody recognises this pattern and can provide the code?

My LR is a defender TD5 2004 with boost rims.

Welcome :).

Try a trye fitting place they may have a set of keys.
Or look on evil-bay there are places who will match it for you from a photo.

Stick a bolt in the thread hole and weld it to the nut and then undo it.
You can get adapters that hammer onto the nut and then undo it, one use only though.

The cover to the one with the lock nut on should have a dimple in the middle, and be the only one that is removable!

It is faintly possible that, once given all the security info they ask for, a LR dealer may be able to tell you which adaptor you need.
If not, get 5 new ones and the key, then butcher the old ones off and replace em.
You can usually hammer a smaller socket over it to remove it, (loosen the other ones first so the friction holding it on is a fraction less.)
