I think @Datatek posted on here in the last few weeks about doing lock microswitch replacements on one of his cars. He may have relevant information or guidance he could give you for doing it?

He posted door locking unlocking cured so hopefully he has the remedy

I have done 3 locks now with success but I would not call what I have done very professional. I am about to start another one so I will do some photo's.

Will be interested to see. Otto's boot release issue seems to be down to earthing through the lock, so probably worn switches. Would be nice to get him back to standard instead of my bodge with some 2 core cable and a bell push mounted on the edge of the parcel shelf.
