This is a follow on really from another post. Where is best to locate the Relay Box I am using for headlights, fan etc?

If I put it on the side of the inner wing, it will sit above the battery. I suspect I would need to remove the Relay Box (and wires) if I wanted to remove the battery. Not 100% sure how high it can go and still fit under the bonnet (as i am a while away from being able to fit the bonnet).

Or could I put it in front of the battery, mounted sideways on the Radiator Panel. This would probably allow more access to the battery, but it would also be across the front of the vehicle so would get hit by more rain etc.

As you can see, it is not the smallest relay box in the world.

Any advice?

Anywhere that works, how often are you realistically going to be removing the battery? What's an extra couple of bolts to remove the relays too.

I'd suggest getting some heatshrink over those crimp connectors though, and smear some grease around the terminals of the relays, etc. That way a bit of rain wont upset much.
