I have an 06 TD4 Adventurer 3 door, it came without a load space cover.
Looking on eprey it would appear a 3 door uses a parcel shelf type and not a roller blind type. Is this so? or can a 5 door roller blind one be easily adapted.

Has anyone done this.

Hi , are the two shelf holders intact ? , mind you they are of poor quality and design i had to repair both of mine and paint them !

There are no fixtures or fittings in mine for any sort of cover.
Is the one in your pic a genuine LR one or one marketed by powerful_uk_ltd on ebay.

I can't see why a roller blind type won't fit. Does it not just need fixing behind the seats and some hooks behind the back door?

I have been looking for one for a year they seem fairly scarce. Obviously Land Rover Dealer Prices are more than I paid for my Freelander last year.

After looking at your link . the shelf ,that came with the car , seems to be the copy ! as the fittings are identical , this now , is why L R had no listing of replacement parts ! the shelf matches the rest of car and rests on the rear side trim its just the weak fixings that let it down , i also removed 5mm from the shelf locating pins to aid removal , which is why the plastic holders must have broken in the first place , it does the job for the price :)

I got the one from powerful_uk_ltd, not had any probs with it.
The shelf is well made and suits the car , i assumed it was a L R one but the plastic holders were poor quality for L R i thought , any way i have just ordered a replacement fixing kit from powerful uk at 27 quid ! :) update kit came this am very good service from powerful uk , the 2 plastic holders were the same as before , poor quality but not broken , and had to be sanded and sprayed black ( there was a brown tint to them ) all sorted now !

I bit the bullet and bought one from power_uk_ltd ordered yesterday (Thursday) afternoon it arrived today (Friday)
They say 48 hr shipping. I put a note on the order asking to delay shipping as I wouldn't be around on Monday. 5 minutes later I get a phone call saying it would be sent this afternoon it'll be with you tomorrow. How's that for service.

Bit of a bugger having to take the side panels out to get a captive nut in. I trimmed the locating pins like you said Ian, they are too long, fit's a treat.
It's also better made than I thought it would be.

The 5 door roller blind cover is too long for the 3 door models, I have often wondered if it would be possible to cut a roller blind down a bit to suit the 3 door models as the roller blinds are easier to find and much cheaper.

anythings possible, i cut my living room blinds to fit.

you'd also need to put two hooks on the door to stop it rolling back
