im looking to buy a load area mat for our tD5 110 CSW.

I can see mats much cheaper for 2007 puma vehicles but will a mat for that model fit our tD5?

Being has no one else has replied...
I 'think' the wheel box area is different on the puma? I seem to recall a picture that showed the difference but my memory is foggy

I use old pieces of astro turf in the back of my 90 it works well

Or if you want to DIY, buy a rubber "stable mat" and then cut it.

I was looking for an acoustic mat with raised corners to catch water hence hoping to buy a fitted mat if possible.

All those fitted mats are extortionate aren't they! I used rubber matting I bought rubber matting I bought on the internet, 3mm and cost me about £25 though I didn't get the raised corners you want but I did leave it a little oversize so it was raised around the edge.

I suppose that is an option. Doubt there is much difference with the 'acoustic' stuff anyway and given I'm going to Dynamat the floor that's a fair point.

Did we solve the original query though - is a Puma 110 rear floor the same size and shape as a tD5 floor?

When you say size and shape.... probably but there are different fittings.... I don't think the seatbelts fit the same as they did in earlier 110.. and you may find the mat is cut to take that into account (some have holes in)

If you want the raised lip, just buy 'stable mat' and aluminium angle, cut the angle to length and rivet with big washers -it'll catch and contain the crud, but you can pull it out to pressure wash.

Alm.

Probably not what you want to hear, but +1 for the stable mat, it really does make an excellent load bay liner.

I'm going to give another vote for stable matting. Have it in the 110 and it is much better than the thinner rubber load liner that came with my series. It is also thick and heavy enough that is works as sound deadening as well and Makes he back a little quieter.

Thanks all.
I was at the Classic Car Show at the NEC atvthe weekend and bought some matting by the metre. I'll cut it to slight oversize as suggested and see how we get on.
If that doesn't work I'll go down the stable matting route but for 15 quid it was much cheaper than buying an 80 mat off Exmoor Trim!
