Mine has fitted a temp gauge an oil light and a charge light. It also has sensors that every vehicle being driven has if only the driver would use them. Two round things in the front of the face called eyes, two more orifices a bit lower down called a nose and a couple of flappy bits on the side called ears. 
An issue with modern cars is the driver is to insulated from the goings on around.
