I bought a refurbed SIII from Liveridge and it turned out to be a great disappointment; poor chassis, covered in black underseal, poor electrics which resulted in an electrical fire (not their work but they had made no attempt to sort out ageing wiring) and a substandard respray job with paint shortly after flaking from the body. I've written it off to experience but wouldn't use them again for anything.

Hello, i have had a completely different experience of Liveridge. Like all dealers their prices are more expensive than a private purchase, of course as you do get the comfort of a warranty with your purchase, and actually the extended warranty at the cost of £170.00 is well worth it if you are buying any car that is over 10 years old.

I have now bought 9 cars from Liveridge and on the whole they have been fault free for the first year at least. My fleet are used excessively and as such things do go wrong and when they do Liveridge either advise me or indeed put the problems right cheaply if they are outside the warranty period.

Two of my purchases have been full refurbishments, and i have to say they look absolutely mint. The last one i had done i was offered 2k more from an acquaintance than i actually paid and as such i made a quick buck!!!

In my humble opinion I have tried other dealers such as Nene and Symonites and found Liveridge's labour rates cheaper. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone...

Hello

what agreat site very informative well done!
Jumped on this thread as I found it quite interesting as i bought my 110 from them last year and their service was very good. I found it difficult to talf to them over the phone as they are always so busy so I took a day off work and went to see them. I was there for over 4 hours and in all that time i wa only left on my own once for about 15mins whilst they helped someone over the phone. I love my 110 its brilliant, after i had the car for about 5months my battery kept losing charge so I took it back to them they hooked it up on thir machine and could see the charge kept dropping so gave me a brand new battery!!! No probs. Had it serviced last month first time £150 later and it runs like a dream!! Not to mention they have a really attactive lady who works with them so it's always nice taking my car in!:D Keep up the good work.

Just had my land rover back from the garage which has had brand new wiring loom fitted. The problem with the loom was it caught fire LIVERIDGE'S FAULT. When i had the refurb the deal was to change the loom and thay didn't. Instead thay botched the job. The other thing wrong is the chassis its rotten after 2 years which LIVERIDGE said thay repaired plus the paint job is terible its started to peel off. All this cost me 10k which took me 15 years to save and have my dream land rover realy ****ED OFF. Will not use again bunch of cowboys.

If you really want a landy take someone who knows what they are doing with you, trust nobody! We have all been had one way or another on this site
