Some decent stuff listed, gonna keep eye on both the series 2s, someone's pain is another's gain.
Have dealt with them on phone and in person many years ago, place looked like a scrap yard tbh, but a good bunch of guys, hope he makes enough so has not to be in too much debt after

Probably too late to offer them a fixed amount for the whole lot... shame... nice little side line business sitting there for a lump sum.

Might try and get across to the viewing though!

This will hopefully filter down and have a positive effect on the present over inflated e-bay prices. No lightweight bits though...damn!!

Sounds like a brill idea for a landyzone congromulate to take over, we must have enough people to take this. On and make a success of it....

judging by the stocklist a lot of defenders finished their lives there. ....just red the small print 15% buyers fee plus vat ouch!:(

judging by the wheels and tyres left, you`d need a wharehouse just for them...

it looks like a friendly shambles all of it though....shame..:(

:D
dont you wonder why the place folded
Yeah I do, could be anything from bad management to wrong staff but what there is there is a ready made business with all equipment ready to go, not necessary from that location

could be loads of reasons - but - bear in mind that you can buy bankrupt stock at a much cheaper price, so, yeah, at "retail price" it maynot be a business, but, at bankrupt stock price it could be.

Sadly a lot of idiots will bid and buy forgetting that and force the prices to values which don't make sense.

Didn't get across today :( Anyone else go?

They had 5 newly rebuilt USA spec defenders stolen from their compound. Colossal hit to cash flow. Banks don't support small businesses any more and insurance always delay payouts. It's very sad, they were a good bunch of guys. I know some people had their criticisms, but I alwYs found them very helpful and good value. I think the two brothers have started up again in Worcestershire, near Redditch.

Interesting 1st post... you related to them?

business insurance is annoying - had a friend have a vehicle written off which is a main part of his business - if it wasn't for family loans he would be bust by now, 1 year on and stll no pay out. He shold eventually get it, but, until then he's maxed out on loans to keep it rolling.

That must have been gut wrenching, glad they starting up again and hope they get a more secure yard and are even more successful this time around.
Wonder if they will buy back most of the stock?
