Hi folks
I have a Freelander 1 and have a couple of annoying faults:
1 When I go to open the back door the window doesnt drop the usual inch so I end up having to pull it down a fraction before opening the door. It closes no probs!!
2 The door lock buttons on the near side have now stopped popping up so I have to open from the inside
3 I am losing about 1/2 lire of water every couple of weeks and cant see where from. The rad has been replaced and when I put the pressure tester on it I cant get it to pressurise to find out where it is leaking
4 It is getting to be a bit of a b*tch to start on a morning, glow plug light goes out after about 4 seconds and I have to heat it 3 or 4 times and even then it takes about 7 seconds of cranking to get it to start. When it does start I get loads of whitish smoke:emps1::emps1:
It is a 2.0 diesel on an R plate
Any advice greatly appreciated
Doug
