Clutch pedal doesn't feel great and is very slow to raise once depressed. It gets better once it's been driven a little but first thing it's very sticky.

Also the temp gauge is erratic. It just drops from normal temp to on the deck and then pops back up and seems to work just fine. It never over heats and I don't think there any other signs of HGF.

Any ideas on the above please. I'm guessing clutch release bearing maybe & faulty temp sender?

TIA

The clutch arm going into the gearbox seizes up, give it an oil with wd or plusgas getting somebody to pump the clutch pedal as you spray oil onto it. then just give it a drop of engine oil every now and then to keep it nice and free.

Take the instrument cluster out and make sure the tabs at the back of the temp gauge are holding the gauge in place nice and securely, I had that problem with my rev counter

Cool, just keep spraying and working the pedal until it frees up, it will loosen up eventually
