i might be up for this too, depends if the water pump and service bits arrive in time for me to get them done prior......

Glad to hear you're trying to make it Gaz. Different day to last Saturday, expect flat/wet as opposed to dry/rocky.
If you do decide to do the route I put together (feel free to pick someone else's if it suits), its 114 miles long. We don't have to do it all if time doesn't permit, but don't start too late. I'd suggest a 0900 start at Blyth services. Then there's time to have breakfast there beforehand.
Don't let me hijack this day though, feel free to discuss as a group and the majority decision will prevail. :)

Blyth is South of Doncaster, used to be where the A1M ended and turned into A1 but that might have changed. South of where the M18 crosses the A1

Oh yeh I know blyth services, just thought if you were meeting in the village it may get a little cramped as the centre is only tiny! Used to go to the pits just up/down the road for a previous job so know the area a bit, services is good for me :)

Just got back from the hospital ... It's clear I won't be on the run for definite now.

Doctor pulled my knee apart, between gasps of pain I said it dislocates 'differently', so he popped it back and dislocated it 'differently'. 10 minutes of much pain later he popped it back together and said don't walk for a week ... chatted about it and referred me to Physio for 3 months and a new review (bloody torture session) every month!

So, drove the Disco home, only needed the clutch to reverse onto the garden, hobbled into the house and now sat on the settee with me laptop in front of me .. Off work the rest of the week and maybe more if it doesn't stop being painful .. despite the tablets!

Acc. to the surgeon he 'touched nothing' that would cause it to dislocate any more than before the operation .. when asked why it now dislocates at least once a day, often many more times, and I hadn't dislocated/bent it forwards for at least a year before he couldn't adequately answer, only saying it was nothing to do with the op!

Arse-covering methinks ..

Been reading this again, perhaps you would be better without me. I know nothing and don't have mud tyres or a winch.

I wouldn't want to spoil everyones day so be honest, I wont mind :D

Totally forgot about this, just looked I even have a pm (strange it never popped up and told me?)

I should be able to do a few but they will have to be fairly local ones to me as am doing some training and have a zip wire jump on Sunday that am meant to be getting things ready for.

But not one to miss out on a bit of lanning.
