The gear indicator displayed in the odometer continuously flashes "D", matching the red indicator light next to the stick, and to confirm, there is no movement forwards or backwards....
Having poured over various entries and books it all seems to point to it not being the XYZ switch as the indicator lights all match, and more to the transfer box being suck in neutral. Well, next week has been secured off work to play with it, I'll try the basics first and let you all know...
Still, at least it won't be cold outside and it hasn't been off road for the worst weather in 30 years, like when you'd like a Landie.......!
