Hi everybody

I'm new to this Landrover business so i would like to ask a dumb question!!!!

I want to lift my series 3 swb for general repairs and the odd wheel and tyre change but can't find a jack that raises high enough (can't see how or where a farm jack sits under). I know there is one out there just need a pointer in the right direction.

Many Thanks

Paul

hi lift sits under the bumper or rear crossmember. OR you can buy an adaptor that fits in the standard jacking points.

Or hook an engine crane round the bumper and lift it pretty much as high as you want.

jack it under the diff or chassis with a block of wood 12" ,log , x 6 x 3 hardwood and a tall hydraulic or trolly jack , high lifts no use fer mechanical work , or as said a engine hoise on the bumpers :)

Paddocks sell a extra high trolley jack - lifts mine perfectly :) (on the axle / diff)

i use trolley jack for Taking tyres off and parts if working under car i put axle stands as well just to be safe. Trolley jack gets it plenty high enough.
