i had them on my old disco but they was solid ally ones , im not sure what these are like
 
had no problems with them atall.... plus you dont need to extend brake pipes done every thing that everybody else done , and some rough stuff
 
they seem expensive for a bit of steel you could probably get a 2nd hand lift kit for a little extra cash maybe even the same price if you looked hard enough
 
if you are gonna go down this route though go to your local fabrication place and ask them how much to make you some mate i made some for my mates disco out of some old 3 inch box we had used for a job for building a massive set of trailers with real heavy duty wall

when i was looking at buying mine , they were selling box section ones aparently they dont take the heavy banging to well and start to callapse
 
yes someone made my mate some using 3.2mm wall and he crushed them green laning i cannot remember the wall thickness of what i used for him but it was bought in especially for axles and was rated to 10 or 15 tonne something rediculous as we built two 30 ft trailers that bolt together so some guy could build a house on it lol
