Lift kit

toying with ideas I pondered if you need to extend brake lines as well?
or is it dependant on how high you lift?

only because I thumped a soddin great rock today that sombody had thoughtfully rolled into the lane and hidden it in the snow
I'm not thinking of doing the Dakar

Lifting motor no probs but before that get some bigger tyres. Can go to 215/80/15 or 205/80/16 with no problems at all.

Can lift up to 50mm without extended brake hose....beyond 50mm and your likely to fook driveshafts anyway.

Do both and you will have more ground clearance than standard 90

Fairplay for going up stanage, i got grounded coming down in me classic.Would have made it in me 110 if i still had it.

Been told Stanage is one way only now, TRO applied last year sometime to stop people going up as this hurts the track more than coming down ... can anyone confirm this?

There is a "voluntary" one way ...down only....system been in place for about 18 months, but to date I have only seen vehicles going up the edge. (which I personally think is safer and if driven sensibly causes less damage than going down)

Before anyone gets on high horse vid was shot prior to restriction

Right, no worries. No probs with you going whichever way you want, the vid is dated too ... ;)

Good to keep within voluntary guidelines too, that way they won't make them compulsory forever. Just wanted to be sure about the one-way status as I'm supposed to be going up there next month with a couple of mates.

Just a note as this is in FL section....Stanage aint the place to take your standard FL....if you do expect some big bills
