Forgot to post the other day when the kits went to the platers, but the kits are er, at the platers. They're ready now, just need to find an hour to go pick them up, probably be either Monday afternoon or first thing Tuesday (working out on site on Monday so depends how that goes and whether it even goes ahead as its weather dependant).
Soon as I get them back I'll get them wrapped and couriers booked in.

Kits are being dispatched today with UPS. They state its a 48hr delivery but as most found with the exhausts they arrived next day!!
For those of you who've asked me to hold on to the kit for now, or are waiting for camber pins, yours will be dispatched in due course.

Also, it turns out I can't count, thought I'd sold 10 but only had 9 (someone didn't pay, not from here), so if someone wants the last kit, its first come first served...

SES88 I cannot pm you, maybe I have not posted plenty. Is it ok to contact you via the email of your paypal address

Cheers

Received the kit this morning also, looks great.

Also I work as a welding inspector, and a work mate is an ex welding teacher and we both agree that the welding is to a very high standard.

I am very pleased with the kit and would recommend this to anyone.

Thanks alot

Rob

Not yet but may get round to it, main issue is getting someone who can reproduce the bent tube accurately!

Try a company called tube craft we use them there very good, last batch of stuff we ordered from them was for fast response ambulances it needed to be perfect to fit oxygen bottles and medical kit and was perfect

Yeah I've used them before. Just need to make sure my drawings are cock on as only get 1 shot at getting them made. Tubecraft are one of the most expensive companies too, but we'll see.

Will there be anymore of these lift kits for sale soon? Quite tempted to raise my Hippo.. :p

Haven't got any plans for another batch at the moment, but that could change depending on demand...
Looking at ways I can make them cheaper (without sacrificing quality and strength) too, as I make next to nothing on them for the labour time spent!!

One of my trade buyers may have a kit left, drop me a PM and I'll send you their details.

Simon, is it a pain in the noodles to make shorter (25mm or 30mm) kits? I'm going to fit 215/80/15 to my new plaything and wouldn't mind a gnat's more clearance on top, but not sure I want to go to the lengths of cutting out to stop the arms fouling. Appreciate I'll still need camber correction pins.

They're possible, but would be a right pain in the ar$e to make...
The plates that I put in normally are 30mm (added to the 2x 5mm fascia plates makes 40mm), but if we went for say 25mm overall, I'd end up putting 15mm plates in. As it is, I have to weld the front's blind because I can't physically see inside when the torch is in, so would be even worse if the gap to weld in was 15mm, not to mention getting 2 welds in that space and then somehow dressing them off.

In short, its doable, but would be a right pain, more pain than cutting a couple of slots in the inner wing ;)

Well my current Freelander fund has made a sudden change for the worst. So lifting it will be going on hold for a while. :p Cheers for the offer though!

But If you do intend on making another batch further down the road, drop me a PM as I'll most likely be interested!
