Hawkeye has thrown this fault up.

The electric seat controls all work but I have spotted that the mirror tilt in reverse on that side does not work. (drivers side controls and mirror tilt do work) Also when you do the button tests on Hawkeye, none of the voltages register.

So I have checked the small black plug on the Becm (serial lead) which looks OK. I guess I have to check the leads on the LH outstation, can't see it? Found 2 Amps and Transmission computer. Where is the outstation?

Any other things to look for? Do they go wrong?

Thanks

The mirror may just be set up to not dip so there may be nothing wrong.
Two amps and a transmission computer? Where are you looking, under the passenger seat? Outstation is in the door.
Sounds like Hawkeye may have a software bug.

Mirrors are programmed to dip via seat outstation.

I know that, but you can set them so they don't dip by simply adjusting the dipped setting to be the same as the normal setting manually.
When you are in reverse and the drivers side mirror has dipped, try adjusting the postion of the passenger mirror to the dipped position you require, then select D and see if the mirror reverts to the normal position when the drivers side does.

Hello. No just sits there dipped. I have also tried the mirror store procedure via memory seat. Computer actually says Mirror Dip Stored, but again only driver side registers. Passenger side used to work. Can only guess this is the outstation issue. Have found it above Transmission box under passenger seat. Will pull it at the weekend.

Actually you set them not to dip by putting the gearbox into reverse with the ignition on but the engine not started and hold the memory set button. The message centre will then say "MIRROR DIP OFF", same procedure to turn it on.

But your way accomplishes the same thing :p

There are 3 ECU's under the passenger seat auto, transfer & EAS I guess the seat out station may also be there.

Update. The communication error is because my passenger seat does not have an Outstation. They are only present when the seat has a memory function. Driver's side does, passenger side does not. It has the relays instead. So Communication code in Hawkeye now understandable.
