:mooning: - Not that!!!

As I was looking through one of the Landy mags, I saw a chap who had made the back of his Defender into like a caravanette with a stove etc.

Just wondered if I could see pics and brief explanations from those of you who have done summat a bit different to the interiors of your Defenders? Floral wallpaper? Mass speaker system? The Mona Lisa painted on the inside? Stocks and chains? :scratching_chin:

Cmon - lets be avin ya!!:pop2:

Mine is along the lines of a woodland theme.
ie. its full of dirt and saw dust with the odd twig.

HB's the girl for this she's put a stove and sink into a 90 and done out a 110 into a camper style van. think her pics are in the gallery section.

I have a set of mantec load shelves in mine. ply boarded the sides finshed with marine grade carpet and a variety of net pockets. 1st aid kit and fire ext. bolted here. I have made a shelf which sits up near the roof held ontop of the van sides. Finished with the same carpet housing a pair of 6x9 speakers and 2 12v Acc sockets. Engel fridge slide draw at the rear of the load bed. Dog guard completes the front end of the load bed. MSS security grills finish the rear. Cargo net on the rear window to hold small things.

All designed to maximise space in a 90 and secure loads.

Ooo, pics please sounds interesting.

i was given some tough red carpet for mine, to help keep the noise down and stop stuff sliding everywhere. I have a load of speakers held in with string, pending getting round to doing the isntall properly.

I have a large brown ammo box for bigger tools, and two smaller tool boxes for smaller bits an bobs, and currently a pile of ratchet straps. :)

ive gotta take some first, ill do it later. Or maybe tomorrow. :)

The carpet is a bit ****ed now though, cos i havn't exactly looked after it...

behind the 2nd row seats of my 110 csw is a ply bulkhead. Both rear windows have been replaced with aluminium panels. The sides of the rear tub are ply lined as is the floor. On the left hand side, the full length of the load bay, is a large ply chest. above this is my 20 cup urn, 3 lighter sockets, soon to be my stove (it's currently in my chest) and a cabinet for my tea, coffee, soup, pot noodles etc. On the right hand side is a 12" high extension protruding from the wheel arch and extending the full length of my load area. This is where I house my tools. I then have a plastic box the full width of my load bay and half the depth that contains spare parts. The rest of the load space is my boot.
