Hello from Solihull, home of the Defender.
I spend a few months searching for the "perfect" 90 and looked at many only to come across what I was after in Bromsgrove. It's a 1985 that has been fully converted to an Anniversary edition. The PO spend spend a lot and I have receipts and picture's from day one. Since I purchased it I converted it to a soft top along with a Safety Devices cage. Some mild engine work to the 3.5 has made it come alive! Edelbrock carb and manifold was in place, Kent cam and some others bits have been added.

Look forward to driving it each weekend and it's a bit different that a 7.2l Interceptor!

Shame you didn't drop the big V8 in the Landy :D

WELCOME!

Always fancied an Interceptor, but not enough cash, and no doubt they have their own set of nightmares. Was it a 4wd version you had (FF?)

Ooh is it an ff?

Since a child I only ever wanted 2 cars, a land rover and an interceptor! I have the landies but not the Henson. Closest I ever got was Cropredy Bridge garage where I would pay homage during the music festivals.

Welcome you sound like a chap with the same heart. Sod pics of the 90 can I see the 7.2?

The Jensen story is a good one, I moved from Canada in 2010 and always wanted one. I spent 6 months traveling around the UK looking at cars, 8/10 in some peoples minds should be sent to the scrapper! Again I found it in my backyard through a network connection and it wasn't a FF, it was a Series 3 1973 and again a line up of mad men owned it. The total bills from leaving the factory to when I bought it was the cost of a small house! This was the only car I made serious cash on when I sold it after owning it for 2 years. I will say the 90 brings a bigger smile to my face.
I've driven an FF (rare) it has the "smaller" 6.3l engine and drives very nice in the wet and was a little more balanced due to the engine position. It didn't take much for the back end to break loose on mine, 3 speed auto didn't help.
Thanks for the welcome~Gary
