Hi All, I’ve recently purchased a Freelander 1. A 2004 facelift model. I wanted to upgrade the lights all round, I’ve replaced the rear end, no problems, LED reverse lights, number plate lights and also LED Tail/Brake. All branded bulbs, no cheap ebay stuff and they all look great.
I moved to the front end today, I have Osram side lights LED and Phillips HID LED headlight bulbs, I fitted the side lights and ran out of time so didn’t manage to get the headlights changed, put everything back together only to find the side lights don’t work at all. Any suggestions?

Not familiar with the freelander but some LEDs are polarity concious so may just need rotation 180 degrees if thats possible.

Have you swapped back to the originals and they still work?

If you find they don't, you may find the bulb holder and the seating they fit in to on the lamp unit is broken.

Its a common thing, and removing the holder may just have dislodged something.

It is probably the LED bulbs, but worth considering.

Thanks I’ll try that too.
