I am not usually indecisive
I have had 4 x100w rubber spotlights from ebay on the front of my roof rack. They have been on 5 years and are corroding impressively!
They are still sold by "Bolt on Bits" for £8.89 each, so cheap and cheerful. The light beam was bright but in no way penetrating, like quality lights such as Lightforce, but you get what you pay for.
The same ebay seller has LED lights, same size (125mm) (each with 9 LEDs) for £100 per pair. I can't decide without seeing them in the flesh if they are just a boy racer showy gimmick or a sign of improved technology.
Any thoughts or any experience of LED spotlights? Is it the future?
Main use for roof lights is night time green lane type stuff where overhanging branches are common.
thanks in advance
