i need to get the window regulator out to repair it ive took bolts out etc any tips how to seperate it from the window i dont wanna go in heavy handed and bust the window

The runners just slide out from the channel at the bottom of the glass I did mine a few years ago didn't find any problems although I did unbolt the motor from the regulator, that may not be a requirement but I did it.

close window and tape it in place. free glass from the long holder bit then the regulator and motor - dont forget to unplug the motor - can be removed through the outermost bottom hole. bit fiddly but then it just comes out. also fiddly to put back but then suddenly goes, doesn't need to be forced but you'll prob skin yer knuckles at least once!

thanks for that guys, but got it all done earlier was simple really :doh: thort it was best to ask just in case.

That's right simple-ish I didn't have to much or a problem, not that I would won't do it a again. There are better jobs to do like replacing brake pads or even pinion oil seals.
