I've just noticed my Disco leans towards the drivers side a little, I've noticed this on other disco's as well come to think of it, but put it down to there being only a driver on board.

Any idea's? Shocks and springs all appear good.

I'm only a lightweight!

I doubt the springs are odd as the Disco has a very good service record and has always been looked after by Landy experts and dealers.

It doesn't bother me and it drives spot on, just wondered if there was a known cause for it.

So long as it drives in a straight line, nothing to worry about!

Cheers

The front springs are unequal lenghts,or the ones I fitted were...
2 different part no.s

Thats spot on, they are colour coded (well different coloured paint brush strokes) as well at the factory so you know what side to fit them. If you are replacing the springs and are considering any off road work it would be the ideal time to give your truck a little lift.

Don't go mad though

Any idea what colour goes on what side, might be worth me checking out the springs, you never know, even the experts can feck it up.

there is an isolator ring at the top of the rear springs. it's about 10-15mm
i lost mine in some axle twisters when the spring popped out...it was rusted apart anyway, so left it out... could be that this is missing?

Sorry mate, if I had known about the markings I would have noted the sides they came from sorry again.

Look in "Redhands Font of all Knowledge" in the Common Faults section. There is a link to A guide to Springs gives you all the information you could ever need on landy springs.
