Hello all. Doreen,( my old 86 defender 90),has developed a bit of a leak from her fuel pump. It's seems to be coming from the top pipe of the picture below,( pic taken from underneath ), tried tightening the unions up but hasn't made a difference. Is there any seals that can be replaced or is it a more serious problem?

Cheers.

If you are sure it's from the pipe then a new pipe will probably cure it.

The leaking seems to be coming from the part between the pipe itself and where it goes into the pump. Can't find that bit anywhere to buy it so I'm a bit stumped.

Have you removed the part from the pump there is a brass washer / seal could try replacing that.
You will get a replacement fitting from a local diesel injection place.

Cheers Rob, finally found the part online now. Apparently it's called "Banjo connector for No 4 injector" and it's only about £3 for the whole thing so I may as well treat her to a new one.
