Hiya,
The TD5 has recently developed a rattle (although strangely not when going uphill?) so I took a look underneath and noticed several leaks (unsurprisingly).

Leak #1 - Appeared to be caused by faulty sump gasket at first glance but think it's actually leaking higher up? Any ideas or common causes?
Leak #2 - Appears to be front drive shaft seal?
Leak #3 - Absolutely no idea where this is coming from (Just before the rear exhaust muffler). Any ideas on what this is?

I've recently replaced the fuel injector wiring harness and rocker cover gasket as oil was making its way down the wiring harness to the ECU, but leak doesn't appear to be as a result of this fix.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I would advise giving the engine a good pressure wash / steam clean and then watch the leaks freshly develop. That is one manky engine.

I concur... might need steam cleaning, to shift all that!... otherwise soak with GUNK/Jizer/degreaser before cleaning... then look to see which seals need replacing... it's surprising how oil travels around once released.

Keep us posted...

That one on the transfer box, is the transfer box. Likely hi low selector housing either seal on the shaft or less likely housing itself. Breather can get blocked forcing oil out of a weak spot. Not difficult to fix on D2 or Defender.

The other ones is your pinion seal. Not hard to replace just use decent quality parts not shyte.
