Either from top of the windscreen or at the seam in the roof which is hidden away under the cover for the roof rails.
 
What year/model and where exactly is the leak situated. The more info, the more likely you are to get a solution.

2003 L322. Was dripping in somewhere above drives seat. Spotted seal on drivers side seems to have gap, wheres overlaps on otherside. Could this be the source?

stealers had a look and said that gap is normal but the seal has shrunk. Its not a water tight seal so that not the cause. It only overlaps on otherside.

1) Screen resin failing
2) Seam between roof and side where roof rail go. Small allen key but says that doesn't go inside.

Hose pipe job and roof liner down. How easy is it to remove headliner?

The thought of water ingress with all those electrics......
