Hi,
Found the other leak! Thanks to a hefty dose of rain i seem to have found the other leak, weeping rivets can you believe it!! i have three of the beauties that come through from the rear tub into the cab that are letting in. Now before i get all industrious and drill them out put a big blob of silicone in said hole then stuff another rivet through and replace am i missing something obvious????
:crazy::crazy:

right broke the fooking rivet gun it was my dads old one!!! any recommendations on brands worth buying or are they all the same???

I got myself a rolson one from maplin. It was cheap and I expected it to perform as such but its actually surprisingly very good. Not too bad for 12 quid at all

get a lazy tongs riveter them tiny handheld jobbies, don't handle big rivets very well. and as a result don't always pull the rivet tight before the pin rips out.

I destroyed a good hand riveter trying to replace the body cappings, on me 110.

A set of these is what ya need.

a nice air rivot gun is what you need as long as you have right size nipple and adjust the jaws right. There great used to use repair them in work a bit off oil and clear out the swarf, they work great.

Cheers everyone was looking at Lazy tongs just now. Would love a air rivet gun but would need a compressor first. I only have T Max compressor for the tyres. Looks like a set of Lazy tongs it is then.
