Exactly what I did on mine, new caps sorted it.

Britpart ones leaked more than the old ones I took off!!
 
The other thing no one has mentioned yet is the gasket between the drive flange and the hub. These sometimes let stuff out, especially if oil has got into your hub. In my youth I spent a lot of time cutting gaskets out of paper, but these days I usually get pre-cut ones because they're only a few pence.

Thanks for this. I'll add to the shopping list, for a few pence I might as well swap it out
 
The gasket may leak, but it's more likely the hub cap, that said, it is worth changing the gaskets. So Brown is right!
You'll need a meaty set of circlip pliers to change the gaskets.
