Hi,
Anyone out there who can give me a clue as to the most likely place water is getting into my mates van bodied 110?
Its puddling on the back raised area where the seats would normally go!
& in both front footwells.
Any info would be great cos it's driving him mad.

cheers.

Aye! Try searchin on here Mad Hat man put a link up showin all the places they leak and how to cure em!

Iss a fookin long list:rolleyes:

look for water coming in through the floor, roof, doors and windows first off

In the front it's most likely to be door seals, bulkhead vents or the rust holes that are inevitably growing in the footwells even as we speak:)

mine leaks from the bulkhead where the throttle cable an master cylinders are as well as the door seals. just means that when it rains u always got clean feet. no big deal

tell yer mate to seal orf the join between the lower and upper parts of the body at the back....there is a seal in there but never seals properly

The roof has a gutter that's supposed to be sealed with Mastic.

Check that the seals are ok. This is an often overlooked spot that's famous for leaks.

your forgetting it leaks water in, but the good thing is it'll leak back out again!

you say it's a van body. Even if you fix the leaks in the back the chances are you will get condensation in the back anyway.
