Hi all,

I've just bought a 2ndhand 2002 Disco 11 which is great for my purposes but when it rains and the vehicle is stationary water leaks down the stem of the mirror and drops off right on top of the stereo/sat nav - not good.

So whenever it's parked at present I have to put a piece of plastic there so the water runs down onto the gear lever area!

It's not coming through the screen as it couldn't get onto the mirror so it must be via the sun roof I presume, has anybody had this fault or any suggestions?

It looks as though when the sunroof is closed it seals off the roof area but it must be getting past there somehow and into the frame but this all looks very dry when I examined it.

Any ideas where to put the sealant!? or is it time to strip some of the trim away - I hope not.

Could be the sun roof?

I had this byerly, its coming in through the top of the w/screen.
Drop the headlining, and put a hose on the front and top of the screen, and you will see if it comes in'
If not, then soak the roof, as it could be leaking through the sunroof due to blocked rain channels.
My money is on the w/screen, which has been replaced and badly fitted.

Gaffa tape on the sunroof! Cured mine! got p'd off arsing around trying to find it!

Thought they were meant to leak ?

How else are you going to wash the interior!
