Hi guys my mates 14 day old disco 4 sat nav/ lcd screen is not working.
Ie, its not turning on at all?
Checked fuse for him and thats ok.
I looked on another forum and some one mentioned a software update?

Any ideas before it goes back to dealer?

Best thing to do is to take a large screwdriver and prise the screen out of the dash and soak it in a bucket of soapy water for a week - that will sort it out :D :D :D
 
Take it back, get your 60k back, and ask them to find you a nice 200tdi.

"a 200 what???" said the salesman :rolleyes:
 
Take it back to the dealer - don't even bother trying to figure out what it might be - that's what dealers are for.

Its a software fault on the FECM and AFCM. Go get the software update done. Takes around an hour to do.

Its a rite motor, makes my 2006 vogue look ****e.

Dont think he will be swapping it anytime soon for a 200 tdi?
Now they are ****e.
