Hi everyone!

As you can see by my nick, we are the proud owners of a black d90. We love to take it out to get dirty, but as most roads in the Netherlands are closed to anything but bikes, we're going to give Wales a try.

I live in the Netherlands, love my two big Rhodesian Ridgebacks and try to make a living by teaching kids who don't want to learn anything. (did you when you were 16?)

Anyway, I knew I was going to Wales two weeks ago, but I don't like to do the housework that you have to do when going on a holiday. So today I'm trying to fin the best places to be in Wales.
I'm going to have a look around at this forum and hope to hear from you!

ooohh im scared, i live in wales and spend a lot o time in the nederlands wiv work, where abouts in wales are ya goin and where abouts in holland dus yer live

By far one of the best places to go in wales is the Gower peninsular. If you can get to Hill end camp site on the llangenith beach you will be in for a cracking sunset if you catch the weather good. Also a great place is Shell island north of Balmouth on the Snowdonia Coast. The enty to the park is a bit lower deck but when clear you can drive around the island and find a spot to suit your self - clearly Defenders can get to places normal cars just can't get too.

We live in the northern part of The Netherlands, Friesland and we'll be cruising the "whole" of Wales for at least two weeks. Look out for the black d90 with a large white logo on both doors. If you go to De Passenheim 4x4Trial Wolvega - Home you will see our beauty. Hubs is organising a trial in october. The site is all in Dutch, but it's the car that matters!

Your ride looks good - I also have a black 90 with an autohome roof tent fitted - my pics are in the defender gallery. Have fun on your drive through Wales, ill keep an eye out.
