We see this same engine in work all the time in vans, dont whatever you do misfuel it, as its new high pressure pump and injectors, plus remove and clean tank and all pipework.

Agreed, my boss has a transit and he ran out of fuel and it ****ed his fuel pump, which would cost £1200 as it needed to be reprogrammed to that specific ECU... He whiped it all down and made it work, then flogged it to we buy any van for more than he bought it for!

Il stick with my nice simple, proven, mechanical stuff! :)
 
Anti stall is a genius invention when going uphill but a gut wrenching feeling as you go downhill and it suddenly decides to speed up on its own for 10 yards then slam the anchors on.
