I know it looks just as good properly covered in mud as it does clean but I'm starting to get really tired of washing it and only 5 mins later to have all the sides of the the 110 covered in mud and water splatters from the state of the roads at the moment

Have standard genuine mudflaps but they are absolutely useless with the 12.5x33s and 2" lift even with the extended arches as the mud just comes up outside the flaps and between the gap in the top edge of mudflap and the arches.

Thinking about making new mudflaps from just truck mudflaps and having them 2"s wider and maybe abit taller at the sides to bridge the gap between the arches but I'm not sure how it would look

Just wondering has anybody else done anything similar?

That's true but only if your Offroading really and I have an idea to solve that problem quickly if I did do something with them.

Think the fronts might look ok with what I have in mind but can't see the rears looking great no matter what I do unless I locate them closer to the wheel like the fronts and then have them coming down off the arches but then they could get ripped off each time I reverse.

Suppose its the fronts that are causin the biggest mess anyway though so could leave the rears alone

I've been looking at fitting rock sliders, partly for the same reason - they look like they would fill the gap between the front mudflap and the wheel arch... do you think this would solve the problem?

I put huuuge flaps on my Pajero 24" x 18" lol
They were great never even got any dirt on my caravan either ... ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21366143190.669782.jpg

Hmmm, thats actually a good point! I'm contemplating putting sliders on mine too but I don't think they'd be quite enough though to prevent most of it.

Awesome!!!! I love things that work and that are non bling. I saw a 90 rag top in the Atherton (near Leigh/Wigan) last week with huge mud flaps that had been covered in astro turf... I thought wow! and as I dove past I saw he had also covered the rag top with he same stuff!:)... hail the workhorse!!

When I sold the paj I kept the mud flaps to put on the rangey.. But think they will look out of place .. And make the car look daft .. So till I change my mind they will stay in the shed..

didn't seem to stop you sticking them on the paj though, did it :p

They looked ok on the paj, without them mud and stones was going all over the caravan..

Don't have that problem so far with the rangey as it does have more body behind the wheels..
