I know what you mean, but it wouldn't be for another month and a bit so can get to know the other guys better, I trust you guys too, I would also get my parents to meet the Thera going on the trip, take a phone number, tell them what time we should be back, take my phone etc. I know what you mean though
 
Just had a chat with my wife about it, she also works in schools .. the problem is we are under an obligation with regards to minors safety. At 16 it's probably a grey area so until I can confirm it's OK, I'll have to say no, pending approval. Sorry.

I'm thinking of your and my safety .. and how it might look in a court for me.

Jeez, the times we live in, to be forced to think along these lines! When I were your age, and younger, we'd go off almost anywhere with almost anyone!

Yeah I know, my mum used to hitch hike everywhere, I don't want to put you in a awkward position mate, I can find a driver to drive my landy with me of that's allowed? I only preferred to come along with someone else as my mate isn't the best at driving 4x4's

Fair enough, just be careful though, especially if anyone PMs you. Just look at the number of people reading these threads who never post :eek:

Yeah, I know it's the Internet but I wouldn't trust anyone with less than 2000 posts, I know it's only posts but it shows that they are well known and I would ask around with the other members too

Ha ha, last week I would have crossed to the other side of the road if you were walkin down the street :p the exception of course being BoB, he has had 2000+ accounts, still wouldn't trust him :p
 
Give it a day or two, I'll speak to my head tomorrow, or Thursday as I think she's on a course, see what she thinks .. it's her who employs me after all!

If your parents say it's OK, you're happy, I'm happy, in truth I can't see much of an issue.

I fancy some but due to them often turning in to more than I want to take my Disco down at the moment I tend to stay on the safe side of caution as its also up for sale.

I won't mind as much once it has new tyres and lift finally finished, but am a bit of a girl with it at the minute even thou it is only a £1500 Discovery, its all I have to trade up to a 90/110 with so need to keep at least salable.

So if there is some stuff I can do with out major damage am in.
