Hello all,

After a few months of LR ownership and fixing a few problems, I think I'm finally ready to venture off the tarmac.

Is there anyone in the Basingstoke area doing a spot of laning some time soon, who wouldn't mind a 1st timer tagging along?

If beer works as a bribe for putting up with me being a total novice , I'm sure I could spot a beer or two for the kind soul.

Me...in a pub...drinking beer? I could be tempted. I had intended to make the last one, but I got stuck working and couldn't make it back in time.

I think you're onto something there though, bribe with beer first, then ask a favour. I've stuck it in my diary, hopefully I'll be able to make this one.

wouldnt be more sensible to take him to the plains for a first time?
