thanks for the reply to the a46 lane lads. i know its a bit of a mean one but it always has been a challanging section that first bit, and it has been for as long as i can remember, which is a long time as for the reason. its always been a flood over flow area that bit which is why the 46 is raised there and the ground is a good mix of clay and sand when you get under
the sand that is. so it makes for a good boggy section and it always helps
that the land owners son is a complete 4x4 nut as well. plus it one of the main access for the lads ploughing the area and harvesting and so on through out the year
so just a suggestoin for the lane as the others hav pointed out. go in a group and carry spares and have a bloody good day out.

By accounts it sounds like the lane your on about shouldnt be driven anyway.

If you need a winch you shouldnt be there!

We need to preserve these lanes or they will be perminately TRO'd and taken off the map forever.
I Know its one of them lanes mate that been like it for 30 years i can remember and another 80 years my grandad can remember plus my great grandad who been a local farmer says it was bloody worse in the horse drawn days of the early 1900,s than it is now and he can remember people
disappearing in them days and never coming back (so how do you tro a lane that before living memory has always been a sod of a lane) simples go in a group

ment to stick this on the end of your reply mate. used to be. grew up there all my life but got chance to start a holiday company for 4x4 in north wales but we still get back over there to do the a46 lane but if your wanting some simple lanes just go to blanchards taxi,s on a saturday ask for my grandad steven and ask him to show you on the big wall map the legsby road golf ourse track and the train track road through walesby woods there nice and simple so enjoy just tell him the nut job with the rangie says hi and he,ll know who you mean hes been there about 50 years or so so he be able to help u out
