it dont have to be anyone close, ffs - all it needs to be is someone with interweb access - so they can post on here where yu are and give out yo phone number (via PM).

Im in a ditch near Stranraer..been there an hour now
All you gotta do is make sure you have the phone number of a couple of peeps on here. You ring whoever and say 'I'm stuck and I'm here'. The person that you ring either posts the thread themselves or phones somebody else and asks them to do it. People then offer assistance. We ring you back and get rescue party en-route.
